Partner programme terms

These terms govern the Callout AI partner (affiliate) programme. They apply to every partner from the moment an application is approved. Plain English on purpose — if anything here is unclear, email hello@calloutai.co.uk and we'll answer properly.

How commission is calculated
Commission is 25% of what the customer actually pays — net of any discount they used, net of refunds, and excluding VAT. It is not calculated on list price.
A referral is attributed to you if the customer arrives through your tracking link within the last 60 days, or uses your discount code at checkout. Codes take priority over links, so a customer who uses your code is yours regardless of how they arrived.
Commission runs for the first 12 months of each customer's subscription, counted from their first payment. If they upgrade inside that window your commission rises with them. After 12 months that customer stops earning — but there is no cap on how many customers you refer, and each one starts its own 12-month window.
When you get paid
- Commission is held until the customer's first payment clears our 14-day refund window.
- Approved commission is paid monthly, net-30, once your balance passes £50.
- Below the threshold, the balance rolls over — it is never lost.
- Refunds and chargebacks are clawed back in full from the next payout.
- If you are VAT-registered, invoice us for the commission and we'll settle the VAT accordingly.
What's not allowed
Break any of these and we'll withhold the affected commission and, for repeat or deliberate breaches, close the account. We'd much rather tell you up front than surprise you later, so here they are:
- No bidding on our brand. Don't run paid search on "Callout AI", "calloutai", or misspellings of either. That traffic was already ours.
- No coupon or deal sites. Your code is for your own clients and audience, not for public voucher aggregators.
- No self-referral. You can't claim commission on your own subscription. Creator partners get a free line instead — that's the perk.
- No unsolicited email or SMS. UK PECR applies to you as much as to us. Don't buy a list and blast it on our behalf.
- No claims we can't back. Don't state a capability the product doesn't have. If you're unsure whether something is live, ask us first.
- No impersonation. Don't present yourself as Callout AI staff, or register domains, social handles or ad accounts using our name.
Disclosure
If you post content about us that is gifted, paid, or commission-earning, it must
be clearly disclosed — #ad or #gifted, prominently, per
ASA and CAP Code rules. This
is not optional and we will never ask you to hide a commercial relationship.
Undisclosed content is your legal exposure as well as ours.
Ending the agreement
Either side can end this arrangement at any time, for any reason, with no notice period and no exclusivity in either direction. There is no minimum commitment and no volume target.
If you leave, customers you already referred keep paying you for the remainder of their 12 months. The only exception is termination for a breach of the "what's not allowed" section above.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the programme grows. We'll email active partners before any change that reduces commission rates or attribution, and existing referred customers stay on the rate they were referred under.
